About Teresa.
Dr Teresa Goudie
Teresa draws on her extensive experience in academia, traditional publishing and self-publishing to help authors shape their manuscripts into their best work. As an academic editor, Teresa works closely with university students and early career researchers in Australia and overseas to improve their writing. She also assists non-fiction authors to create meticulously researched and clearly written books for both the general and professional market.
With a PhD in English and Comparative Literature and experience in both academia as a lecturer and publishing as an editor, researcher and proofreader, Teresa is well-positioned to provide support and expertise across a range of disciplines. She also has many happy clients who successfully published their fiction books, ranging from illustrated picture books to fantasy, self-help stories and comedies.
Now based in Sydney, but having lived in many different countries, Teresa is committed to helping all authors get their works published; especially those from culturally diverse backgrounds. With over 30 years of teaching and helping people from non-English speaking backgrounds, Teresa is passionate about increasing the diversity of voices in print.
